Despite the profound changes this has brought to her life, Kaylee recently expressed that she has no regrets about her current circumstances, even after losing her job.<\/p>\n
Kaylee began experimenting with marijuana in high school, which eventually led her to escalate her drug use from smoking to injecting methamphetamine. Although her mother successfully urged her to enter rehab, Kaylee chose to seek one last high, resulting in the devastating event.<\/p>\n
While under the influence, she became convinced by hallucinations that she needed to \u201csacrifice something important to right the world.\u201d She vividly recounted the traumatic experience, saying, \u201cI got on my hands and knees, pounding the ground and praying, \u2018Why me? Why do I have to do this?\u2019\u201d Driven by this delusion, she painfully forced her fingers into her eyes, twisting and pulling until they came out.<\/p>\n
