‘Last Man Standing’ Is BACK. Here’s some GOOD NEWS for all the fans of the comedy

If you missed “Last Man Standing” during its original run on ABC and later on Fox, you’re in luck! UPtv has licensed all nine seasons of the beloved series and will be adding it to their weeknight schedule. The show, led by Tim Allen, will officially debut on UPtv on Monday, January 2, airing Monday through Friday from 8/7c to 11/10c.

To kick off the new year, UPtv will host a marathon of “Last Man Standing” on Sunday, January 1, from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m., providing fans with a great opportunity to celebrate the series.

Hector Campos, UPtv’s vice president of content strategy and programming, expressed excitement about the addition, stating, “We’ve had our sights set on Last Man Standing for quite some time because it’s a fun, uplifting show that fits perfectly with our current line-up of the biggest family series of all time.” He noted that the show’s relatable family dynamics contribute to its devoted fan base, and UPtv aims to engage viewers with events like the “Red Hot Reba-thon” and “GilMORE the Merrier.”

“Last Man Standing” follows Mike Baxter, portrayed by Tim Allen, a content husband and father of three daughters. As the marketing director of the Outdoor Man store, a sporting goods emporium, Mike navigates the challenges of family life while trying to escape the female drama at home. He also shares his thoughts on various topics through his Outdoor Man vlog, often straying from the store’s products to discuss politics, health care, and the environment.

The cast includes Nancy Travis as Mike’s wife, Vanessa Baxter; Amanda Fuller as their eldest daughter, Kristin Baxter; Molly McCook as middle daughter, Mandy Baxter-Anderson; Jordan Masterson as Kristin’s husband, Ryan Vogelson; Jonathan Adams as Chuck Larabee, Mike’s coworker and neighbor; Krista Marie Yu as Jen, a foreign exchange student; and Hector Elizondo as Ed Alzate, Mike’s longtime business partner and Vanessa’s stepfather.

The series was created by Jack Burditt, with Season 9’s executive producers including Pat Bullard, Mike Teverbaugh, Linda Teverbaugh, John Amodeo, Shawn Levy, Becky Clements, Richard Baker, Rick Messina, Ed Yeager, Tim Allen, Marty Adelstein, and Kevin Abbott.
